Curlwaa Drainage Improvement Works 2026/27

WMI is planning drainage improvement works in the Curlwaa Irrigation Area. An upgrade to the Bergman’s Pump 150mm pipeline is scheduled for 2026/27. Click here for more information.

Stock & Garden Water Meter Upgrade Complete

WMI has completed the upgrade of all 32mm and 50mm stock & garden water meters, replacing older mechanical meters with modern digital meters.

This upgrade will allow meter readings to be collected more regularly and efficiently using drive-by technology.

What this means for customers:

• A digital display showing meter readings and live flow (litres per hour)
• Monthly meter readings, providing more regular usage information
• Access to monthly water use via the customer portal
• Improve accuracy of water measurement, especially at low usage levels

This upgrade also completes the standardisation of WMI’s meter fleet in line with the NSW Non-Urban Metering Policy and Australian Standards.
