Coomealla Pipeline Upgrade – Lateral 7, Cudgee Road

Western Murray Irrigation advises customers that works will soon commence to upgrade Lateral 7 asbestos cement pipeline off Cudgee Road with modern high density polyethylene pipe, as part of our long-term program of pipeline replacement and upgrades.

Work Schedule
Start date: 1 July 2026
Duration: Approximately 2 weeks, including clean-up

Service Impact:
Most of the new pipeline will be installed alongside the existing pipeline with final connections completed toward the end of the project. This approach is designed to minimise disruption, with any supply disruptions expected to be limited to 2-3 days.
